MASTERTON COMPETITIONS.

GOOD ENTRY. The vocal and musical sections oi the Competitions which take place next week have attracted a large number of entries and competition will be keen. Several school choirs have entered including Solway and Fernridge schools. One of the features of the week will be the dancing sections, which also include the eastern dance by Wellington star artists among them being Misses Joan Marshall, Sinclair and Effie Brice, who will appear in some new character sketches. These should appeal to the public. The box plan is now open at the Arts and Crafts and the public are advised to book early.
