AMERICAN ENTRY DESIRED. (Received 7.25 p.m.) Washington, May 6.—Senator Swanson (Democrat, Virginia) will introduce in the Senate a resolution providing for American participation in the world court, with reservations as recommended by Mr Hughes. The chief of these states that adhesion to the court shall not be taken to involve legal relations on the part of the United States to the League of Nations or the assumption of obligations by the United States under the Covenant.—(A. and N.Z.)
