Present indications are for northwesterly to south-westerly winds, strong to gale; weather cloudy and unsettled with rain probable generally; barometer unsteady with a temporary rising tendency in the south. Masterton.—Mr R. Brown reported at 9 a.m. yesterday:—Barometer 29.50. Shade temperature, maximum 81. minimum 64.8, terrestrial 58.8, bright sunshine llhrs 45min.
