His Excellency spent nearly three hours at the ball. He did not dance, but his aide-de-camp, Commander Dove, R.N., who only arrived from Home a day or two ago, thoroughly enjoyed himself. Colonel H. E. Hart was also in, attendance as honorary aide-de-camp. Airs Hart wore a charming frock of yellow brocaded satin. Airs Temple, who was in jade green georgette, Airs Lamb in amber silk marocain, and Airs Pragnell, were also members of the Governor-General’s supper party. Amongst those present on the stage were Airs Sykes, Airs W. P. Janies, Airs Arnott, and Airs Harley Donald.
