His Excellency spent nearly three hours at the ball. He did not dance, but his aide-de-camp, Commander Dove, R.N., who only arrived from Home a day or two ago, thoroughly enjoyed himself. Colonel H. E. Hart was also in, attendance as honorary aide-de-camp. Airs Hart wore a charming frock of yellow brocaded satin.
