MASTERTON SALE The N.Z. Farmers’ Dist. Co., Ltd., report on their weekly Masterton sale held yesterday. We offered a good yarding of sheep to the usual attendance of buyers. Prices were on a par with recent sales. We quote extra prime fat ewes 39/, fat wethers 35/, ewes in lamb and at foot 32/6, store ewc s 22/ to 23/, small m.s. w.f. hoggets 20/6, store wethers 34/, 32/6, 20 wcancr pigs 22/6 to 12/, good slips 26/. The Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-op. Assn. (Stock, dept.), report on the weekly sale held yesterday.—A small entry of both sheep and cattle came forward, all lines being disposed of under' the hammer at satisfactory prices. We quote 60 fat wethers 39/; 15 fat hoggets 24/3; 20 m.s. hoggets 22/7; 16 fat bullocks £10; 4 do £lO 5/; 5 spg. heifers £3.
