NEXT WEEK. Arrangements arc well in hand for ’ Masterton Competitions’ Society's *■ -rival, which commences in the Opera House on Monday night next. The festival promises to be the most successful yet held by the society. The executive appeal to the Masterton pub--1 ■ to support the society by becoming ; embers. A fee of £1 entitles eateh :uiber to two season tickets, each ticket admitting the holder to 11 sessions during the festival. Membership car. be made on application to the secrctary, Mr V. G. Darroch, Queen street. The box plan for the season will open at the Arts and Crafts this morn- _ at 9 o’clock. There is no extra charge to members for booking seats.
