Association in their change advertisement on page 7 announce that they :.re now showing a splendid selection of cretonnes and shadow tissues in their furnishing department, and ask intending purchasers to compare the prices and value. Young people are looking forward with great eagerness to the children’s plain and, fancy and paper dress dance which is to be held to-night at the Municipal Hall in aid of St. Matthew’s Collegiate tSe-hool for Girls. A jazz band will be engaged and the handsome decorations of the golf bail have been left for the occasion. Messrs Barr and Harman, the wellknown cycle and motor engineers, advertise on the front page full particulars of the latest 1923 model Big X, which is the last word in motor cycles. It is fitted with separate Splitdorf gen era tor, storage battery, electric head and rear light, Ammeter and electric hern and magneto. The firm also in vite inspection of the Balboa side car body, which is beautifully finished in every detail.
