Indications are for moderate to st tong south-easterly to north-westerly winds; cool, changeable weather, probably showery on west coast and southern districts. Barometer unsteady, with falling tendency for passage of small westerly storm area in south. Masterton. —Mr R. Brown reported at 9 a.m. yesterday:—Shade temperature, maximum 59.0, minimum 39.0, terrestrial 32.4, rain 20 points, bright sunshine Bhrs 40min. Solway.—Mr H. M. Boddington reported that 20 points of rain were registered at Solway for the 24 hours.
