RECORD PRICE FOR WOOL.
Murray. Roberts and Co., Ltd., March 14:—Market continues [firm. Continental buyers operating freely, scoured crossbred advanced 5 per cent. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable, dated March 13 :—Wool sales continued animated and prices on the whole are well maintained. American buyers are operating. Owing to withdrawals the sales will close on March 23. The B.A.W. R.A. sale, fixed for April 19, at Liverpool, has been postponed. There will be no public sales until April 24.
At the Dunedin wool sale on March 'J the record price of 2/6 per lb was obtained by Air G. A. Sutherland, of Macrae's Flat. Dor many years past Mr Sutherland has been a consistent ■js-'r of kittle's Dips—using the fluid r.rd powder combined.
