FIXED FOR MARCH 28. UNOFFICIAL LABOUR CANDIDATE. The writ in connection with the by election for the Tauranga scat was issued vii Saturday. The election will be held on Wednesday, March 28, and nominations will close on Monday, March SUPPORT FOR SIR J. WARD. Tauranga, March 10.—A meeting of the Liberal-Labour supporters was held here last night. It was largely attended, and those present pledged themselves to support Sir J. G. Ward UNOFFICIAL LABOUR MAN. Auckland, March 10.—According to the “New Zealand Herald’s” Te Aroha correspondent, Mr C. E. Bloom field, who has announced himself as an unofficial Labour candidate for Taurange, is actively promoting his candidature, and assures the electors that he will definitely go to the poll.
