SALE EQUIVALENT TO MURDER. DRASTIC AMERICAN LAWS. (Received 5.5 p.m.) New York, March 7. —Several midwestern State have passed or are considering Bills characterising as murder the sale of intoxicants causing death, and imposing murder or manslaughter sentences upon those selling. Oklahoma has already passed a law terming as murder the sale of such things as wood alcohol. Ohio has passed a similar law. making it a crime in the second degree of murder. Kansas and Indiana have Bills pending providing murder sentences . lowa has passed a lawproviding for punishment as for manslaughter ,while Michigan has a similar Bill pending.—(A. and N.Z.)
