LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN.

ANNUAL CAMP. Th© annual camp of K squadron of the Legion of Frontiersmen commenced last night, when a number of frontiersmen, under the command of Lieut. A. T. Whitehead, Tinui, took up their quarters on Mr Wardell’s property in the W’aingawa Gorge By Sunday morning it is expected that between 15 and 20 m< n will be in camp, whicti, with the ex ception of the .sleeping arrangement*, is being conducted under service con* ditions. Th© course includes musketry (under th© supervision of Bergt.-Majo McMillan, of the Defence Department), drill, topography and bridgebuilding, ajid will be concluded on Sunday evening. This morning targets will be erected, after which firing will take place for the K Squadron Cup and the Memorial Cup, th* latter being competed for throughout the whole Dominion.
