CRICKET.

BANKS, LAW, AND DENTISTS v. STOCK AGENTS. STOCK AGENTS WIN BY FIVE WICKETS. This match was continued at Cameron Park yesterday. With eight wickets down for 192 the Banks continued their first innings, and were all disposed of for 206. Hart carried his bat for a well-played 62. Lawry, four wicket s for 40, and Wilson three for 62, were the most successful bowlers for the Stock Agents. The Stock Agents made 146, Jenkins and Lawry putting on 53 for the first wicket. Jenkins was top scorer, with 60, compiled by good forceful cricket. Bundle bowled well, securing six wicket s for 57. In their second innings, Banks, Law, and Dentists tallied 172, of which Hart again contributed 62 by good, patient cricket, and Ammundsen scored 30 by forceful tactics.

Lawry (6 for 49) and Wilson (3 for 59) shared the bowling honours. Requiring 233 runs to win, and with two hour s t° fi°> the Stock Agents secured the necessary runs for five wickets and with a few minuses to spare. Wilson (94) scored his runs with forceful cricket and was ably assisted by a patient innings by Lawry (84 not out). Flannery (21 not out) and Steel (20) also batted steadily. Pain bowled best for the Banks, securing 2 wickets for 8. The match committee desires to thank all those ladies who so kindly provided for and assisted with the tea arrangements.
