RICH MAN’S MARRIAGE.

DECLARED NULL AND VOID. Perth, March 7. —A remarkable nullity suit was heard at the Courts. After the death of his wife, Robert Holmes, a wealthy pastoralist, drank heavily, and became mentally and physically feeble. In May last two doctors certified that he was inacapable of managing his own affairs, which his brother is managing. The same month Robert married his housekeeper, and his brother, on behalf of Robert’s son, entered a petition for divorce on the grounds that Robert was incapable of contracting a marriage owing to his mental condition. Mr Justice Burnside pronounced the marriage null and void.
