FEMALE MEDICAL STUDENTS.
EMBARRASSING TO LECTURER MALE STUDENTS DO NOT OBJECT. (Received 7.35 p.m.) Sydney, March 7.—The cabled decision of the London Hospital not to admit women students is regarded with interest by the Sydney University, where mixed classes prevail. It, is admitted that in certain courses the preeence of women students causes the lecturer embarrassment and restricts his scope for discussion. Male student©, however, have no objection to the presence of women, except perhaps during practical classes and dissections.—(A. and N.Z.)
