The course' of procedure leading to the-so-called settlement of Irish affairs has been characterised with great plainness of speech by men who felt that it did not attain the level of honourable dealing. We must try to adapt ourselves to the existing situation in a way consistent with our honour and self-respect.”—(A. and N.Z.)
