PUT ABA. The school broke up under the most h a PPy conditions, the weather beingideal. The parents were invited to the prize-giving, and were treated to a small programme of music and a dainty afternoon tea. Special prizes were gained by the following pupils:—Pearl Manser, sewing, Ist senior division; Lila Gundcrsen, Ist junior: Hetty Escott, and Rowena Corlett, preparatory; Rowland Corlett for writing, Ella Escott and Pearl Manser for homework. Rowland Corlett gained a proficiency certificate. Attendance certificates were won byseven pupils. After prize-giving the children sang several of their school songs, which the guests greatly appreciated. Next came the afternoon tea, which was served by the pupils, little and big, in a most creditable manner. The gathering dispersed after singing the National Anthem.
