Any vehicle with load exceeding 2 tons in weight which crosses the bridge does so at its own risk. All motor traffic over the bridge must not exceed 5 miles per hour. The Council will not be responsible for any accident which may occur through neglect to observe the above warning, and persons found taking vehicles across the bridge with a greater load than that specified will be prosecuted.
