JOHNSONVILE SALE Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., and Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report on their Johnsonville fat stock sale on Wednesday. A good yarding of all classes of stock met with a good demand at prices considerably below last week’s quotations. The quality of beef was good, but prices were very much in buyers’ favour, selling down as low as 20s per 1001 b. The quality of the sheep was fair, and the offerings sold reasonably well, but lamb was very much below last week’s prices, although the quality was good. Wc quote: —Best bullocks, £8 10s, £9, £9 10s to £9 15s; medium bullocks, £7, £7 ss, £7 7s 6d, £7 10s to £7 15s; best cows, £7 to £7 ss; others £4 5s to £6; vealers 24s 6d, 30s to 355; best wethers 13s, 13s 3d to 14s 8d; medium wethers, Ils 6d to 12s 9d; best ewes; 10s 9d to Ils 9d; medium ewes, 9s to 10s; best lambs, 13s, 13s 9d, 14s to 14s 3d; medium lambs, Ils, 12s, 12s 3d to 12s 9d; small lambs, 9s; podfcers, £2, £2 Is, £2 Ils to £2 17s. LONDON REPORTS. (Received 5.5 p.m.) London, Dec. 5. —At the tallow auctions 2051 casks were offered, and 240 sold at 2s to 5s decline compared with Nov. 11.
