CHESS MATCH POSTPONED.
The secretary of the Post Office has advised the Masterton Club that, owing to possible congestion re cabling results of the Springboks v. Canterbury match next Saturday, he is reluctantly unable to grant permission for the use of the wire. In consequence the telegraphic match arranged between Masterton and Christchurch is postponed until further notice.
