Tlic opening chapter of "Tinb ■Winli" gives a good introduction, and is tho forerun nor of a most exciting story. ''Tho Hell Ship" is .a splendid Fox melodrama. 'Wallace Roitt is starred in the Altera ft picture 1 "You're Fired." In this production Mr Reid plays a comedy role of a well to-do young chap trying to work a certain length of time without being fired. This is a condition imposed upon him by a prospective father-in-law before lie will give the wealthy young idler permission to wed.his (•harming young daughter. The young fellow has the nerve to apply for various positions, but has not (he practical ev perience necessary lo hold Ihem. Bui he always manages lo quit before bcine; lired. He is a stenographer, musician in an orchestra, and a helmeted figure with a spear in a Bohemian cafe, before be finally make? good.
THE COSY. Tom Mix makes good n.c;aiii, (his time in "Rou<j;h T?idim< Romance" at the Cosy Theatre. Miss Juanila Hansen, as the princess, o;ivo a dohVhifu! performance, and is a figure at once sweet and courageous. A splendid two-rooler flomiet comedy and a diV supporting serie: are also on the same bill.
