INDUSTRIAL OUTLOOK.
STILL CONTINUES GLOOMY. The industrial outlook still continues gloomy ,the incessant disputes pointing to organisation for the purpose of Dominion upheaval, carrying disaster to all (remarks the annual report of the Alastcrton Chamber of Commerce). The efforts of the New Zealand' Welfare League to induce the Government to convene a conference of all parties interested, received the hearty support of the Chamber, and it is hoped that Cabinet will recognise the imperative need for such conferonce. Only a national movement will provide sane and safe methods for securing the national safety.
