CLAIMS BOARD.

WEEKLY MEETING. The weekly meeting of the Claims Board of the Wairarapa Patriotic Association was held in Masterton yesterday. Mr Hugh Morrison was in tho chair, and thoro were also present Messrs A. McDonald, G. C. Sumraorell, W. J. Wolch, J. Hobenton, and D. K. Logan. A soldier applicant for a loan of £3OO to purchase -stock for a farm was advised to approach the Crown Lands Department. A loan of £3OO was advanced a Gladstone soldier to enable him to complete tho purchase of a farm proptry. An application for the payment of the first halfyear's rent by a soldier who had been allotted a Crown section was granted. On the application of a Maryborough soldier, the Board decided to extend the period of the repayment of his loan for a further twelve months.
