The following have been selected as the South Island Rugby team to play the North Island at Wellington on June 26th:—Full-back, C. Evans (Canterbury); three-quarters, J. Steele (West Coast), J. Valentine (Otago Central), J. Storrey (South Canterbury); five-eighths, J. Sea (Otago), W. Ford (Canterbury); half, D. Sandman (Canterbury); forwards, front rank W. Duncan (Otago) and E. Hassel (Canterbury), lock 0. Hall (West Coast), McLean (Buller), D. T. Baird (Southland), H. Harvey (Otago), L. O'Leary (South Canterbury), wing P. Davidson (Otago). Emergencies: Backs, J. Markham (West Coast), J. Everett (Nelson); forwards, L. Edwards (Otago), E. Cumings (Canterbury).
