The postponed shield match, Park v. Greytown, was played on Saturday afternoon on tho Park Green. While tho green played well, tho wind was strong and proved tricky. The Park Club was successful in win'ning on the

aggregate by a few points. Closing time of entries for tho local New Year Tournament is very near, and intending players should not leave it any later about getting into or making up teams. The Park Club will hold a pairs tourney on Boxing Day and following day, post entries, and probably some visitors will come from South Wairarapa clubs. CARTERTON v. FEATIIERSTON.
