Mr Walter Algie, late of Kongomai, has bought a farm inland froi® Feildmg, between Kimbolton and Apiti. The New Zealand Overseas Shipowners' Committee has been advised that 10 ships will load in New Zealand during February. The Eketahuna County Council has decided to take steps to declare Me weed known as Lantana, a noxious weed. It has been added to the third schedule of the Noxious Weeds Act. The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association, Stock Department, insert particulars of a clearing sale to be hold on behalf of Mr A. B. Green at Rongokako.
