The latest details available of the war gratuity scheme, are that the lroasury will cash bonds in all cases of hardship or special emergency, and the Repatriation Department will accept bonds for the purchase of lariu, homes, and businesses. The janKs will accept tffe bonds as col'ateral security for the purchase of •urd or houses from private owners, ft ig proposed to cash £10,000,000 worth of bonds May, 1921, the 'smamder to "be cleared immediately it is possible to raise the money in the local or foreign markets.
