HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

LADIES' COMMITTEE,

A largely attended meeting of the Ladles' Committee of the Masterton Horticultural Society was held yesterday in the A. and P. Eooms, Masterton. Reports showed that matters in connection with the forthcoming Show were well in hand, and the prospects are for a record in all entries. It was decided by the ladies to have a produce stall in connection with the Show, the proceeds of which will be handed to the Cameron Sports Ground Fund. A strong committee of ladies was appointed to make afternoon tea arrangements. The. Secretary of the Society, Mr. F. J. Steele, was present, and reported upon the progress to date, which he believes will result in a record Show.
