WEDDING

NICOL —CLARKE. A very pretty wedding of considerable interest to Mastertonians, was relebrated at Island Bay»(Wellington) yesterday, the contracting parties being Mr i<eonard S. Nicol, youngest son of ivlrs James Nicol, of Church street, Masterton, and Misß Stella Clarke, daughter of Mr Clarke, of Island Bay. The Ven. H. Watson, M.A., formerly of St. Matthew's, Masterton, performed the ceremony. The bride was attired In a powder Blue georgette, with hat to match, and carried a beautiful bouquet. She was attended by Her sister, who wore a veux rose * georgette dress, with hat to match. Dr. Richmond Hopper, of Palmerston North, acted as best man. A reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents, where the usual toasts were honoured. The newly-married couple subsequently left by motor car for the north.
