Sir,—On behalf of " the and sports of Masterton, we protest against the American "cheap-talk-ers" having the use of the Masterton 'Park oval for their forthcoming tour, and so destroying the turf for further recreation during the summer months. Is it a fact that the Athletic Club and others are charged * fee of £lO 10s, whereas these people . are allowed the Park free of charge? Sir, <jan you inform us how many of our present Councillors am guarantors of the Chautauqua, which is about to visit us, shortly ? Why is the Town Hall not good enough for this company are, etc., TRUE SPORTS.
