At a meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Board of Trade on Empire questions, Sir Thomas Mackenzie, High Commissioner for New Zealand, called attention to the congestion at the London docks, and to the shipping difficulties, also the heavy freight charged on hemp, which was threatening a suspension of a very important New Zealand industry. These matters were referred to the Departments concerned.
