WAIRARAPA SEAT.

Mr. .A. D. McLeod, the Reform candidate for the Wairarapa scat, is

being well received throughout the electorate. At Kahantara on Thursday evening over a hundred people assembled in the scttoolhousc, and the candidate received a warm reception. The chairman, Mr. W. E. Bidwell, complimented the. candidate' upon the address given, and stated that the attendance demonstrated the keen interest Kahantara residents were taking in the campaign. On the motion of Mr. Roy Barton, seconded by Mr. W. Sutherland, the candidate was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his address. Mr. McLood will address , the electors at Morrison's Bush on Monday evening next.

TEMUKA SEAT. (By Telegraph—Press Association) TIMARU, Last ; Night. Mr. F. H. Buckley, a farmer in the Pairlie district, has announced his candidature for the Temuka seat in the Liberal-Labour interests.
