AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB
SPECIAL MEETING. A special meeting of the Committee of the Wairarapa Amateur Athletic Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms last evening to consider a suggestion from the Wellington Centre re altering the date of the annual sports, so. as .not to clash with the monster amateur athletic meeting in Wellington on Boxing Day. After careful consideration, the committee unanimously decided to altor the dato to Anniversary Day, January, 22, 1920, a number of entries being promised from Wellington athletes on that date. The altered date will also allow the local cracks to compete at the big sports in Wellington on Boxing Day,
