BOOTH CUP CONTEST

The fmal match in the second round of the Booth Cup competition was played yesterday afternoon at the Park, when the Park players met and defeated Masterton A by two points. This is the first win registered by '• be Park players, and it_ lias had the effect of making Masterton B the winners of the northern section. The games resulted as follows {Masterton being mentioned first in each instance) ;
Wood, Thirtle, Hendry, Chapman (s) 17, Finlayson, Johnson, Hunt, Noad (s) 24.
Grundy, Tcnnant, Thompson, Cresswell (s) 37, Webb, Black, Ralph, Frost (s) 13. Dagg, Wingate, Thurston, Dickens (s) 7, Groombridge, Staniforth, Gibsou, Carr (s) 26.
Challenges have been received from the Park for the championship pairs as follows: —Johnson and Hunt, H. Carr and Bell, Duncan and Swinerd.
