Tho baroineferic pressure has increased oho inch in the past fortyeight hours, and is now above normal everywhere. Strong .south winds have ruled, with cool, changeable and .showery conditions. Present indications are for strong .south-easterly winds north of Farewell, Spit and Kaikoura, and moderate .southerly breezes tdsewhere.
