'•Having hoard that (.he Malawhero Stud Lincoln li'lock was to bo dispersed, and being au cuthusiast on the breed, an opportunity presented itself for a closer inspection which was eagerly soiled, and proved highly satisfactory. 1 was very much impressed with tho stud rams, few iu number certainly; but they aro a very typical lot, and there is nothing better in the world than the top end of the sheep. They show breeding, constitution, and wool very seldom equalled. The cwoa are great, .showing beautiful quality and constitution, and I am satisfied buyers will show their appi eolation when the sheep uro placed before them. The lambs are healthy, and show a strong family likeness to their sires and darns. Breeders of Lincoln sheep, and those contemplating entering their names in the Kloek Hook, have- an opportunity at the sale of Mr A. D. McMaster's (lock, which may never occur again, of acquiring some of the best .Lincoln st.ru iu of blood in New Zealand, if uot iu the world. Many breeders are successful, but to reach tho top rung of the ladder means enthusiasm ,enormous patience-, ■■■and personal supervision to endless details, with the closest attention to mating.
