MONjTHLY MEETING. Tlio monthly meeting of the Trust Lands Trust was held last evening, tlioro being present Messrs R. Krahagen (chairman), A. W. Hogg, T. Wiigg, A. Rippon, E. C. Eton, W. H. Jackson, D. Caselborg, 0. E. Daiiiell, F. B. Micholl. , ffhe Masterton Borough Council wrote asking what further progress had been made in regard to the site for the proposed convenience.—lt was reported that the building committee bad the matter in hand.

Mr Danioll was of opinion that the Borough Council was endeavouring to force the hands of the Trust. Tt was. decided that Messrs Krabagen and Daniell meet the Mayor in connection with the matter and report to the Trust. The Masterton Silver Bnnd wrote, asking for support and co-operation of the trustees in organising a gala on Easter Monday, and suggesting that the Trust appoint two trustees to act on a combined gala, committee. Mr Krahagon moved and Mr Eton secondf"' that the Trust give the band every support and make a donation of €lO after the balance-sheet of the band's present position had been supplied. The motion was carried.

Application by Ethel Madeley, Vera Header, and Boy Cardner for grants were referred to the education committee.
