WRECKAGE ASHORE
ON THE EAST COAST. Sergeant N. Miller, of Masterton, received a telephone message last evening from Mr Gordon Laing, of Riversdale. stating that a quantity of wreckage had con\e ashore on the East Coast, The debris included two Waitresses and five or six pillows, which had apparently been only a short while in the" water, together with a number of boards resembling the deck of a vessel. The weather has been very heavy on the East Coast during the last few days, and it is thought that a sea-c*aft has come to grief. The question will naturally be asked, " Can it be the scow "MoaT
