The attendance ol the public in increasing every week, wmch is not surprising, considering the splendid contests which they witness. The foliowng events were decided :-r----75 Yards Handicap.™ First heat ; Yates 4yd3 1. Devonshire 7yds 2 f s Qumn 4yds 3. Second heat; Bradbury 7yds 1, Land 3yds 2, Buick syds 3. Final: Yatcfi 1, Devonshire 2, Bradbury 3., A close, finish. 880 Yards' Handicap.—L. Wadham 100 yds i, A, Campbell 110 yds 2, W. Candy 50yds and V. Buick < oyds dead heat 3. Also started: A. Wyeth 40yds, T. Qumn 70, R. Devonshire 95, and J. Bradbury scr. Time, 2min osecs. One Mile Bicycle Handicap.—D. Davey scr 1, D. de Castro, 4yds 2, G. Brown attractive bicycle race yet held this season. Every man, both liniit andy back markers, never waited at any stage, and the hniidicapper - having judged their capabilities to a nicety the last lap was very exciting and fast.
