UNITED EFFORT.
No matter what may be the outcome of the political crisis at Home, it is absolutely certain that Britain and her overseas possessions will be required to accept the challenge recently issued by Germany and to organise the whole of their resources in order that the machinations of the aggressive Teutons may be defeated. So far as the Allies are concerned, tliey have the men, the money, the fighting spirit and the munitions. What they lack is a concentration of energy upon the fixed purpose of destroying the menace to civilisation. The'reconstruction of the British Cabinet, and the granting of dictatorial' powers to the Wai; Council, will, it is hoped, .make for a. more vigor, oils and determined prosecut.on of the war. To the dark cloud there is always a silver lining, and we may rest assured that out of the present political crisis there will develop a resolute* spirit which will bring a triumphant and glorious victory to the cause of righteousness.
