INTENSE ARTILLERY CONFLICTS. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) ROME, July 3. Official: Lieut. Rouillot, a frenchman, from a Height of 50ft, bombed the Austrian submarine TJII in the iAdriatifd. Explosions occurred at the rear of the conning tower, and it is believed the submarine sank. The artillery'"fire is increasing in intensity at Carnia ? where we effectively bombarded the works. At Predil the Alpini captured an entrenchment on the northern slope of Polgrande, and repulsed two violent .counter attacks. The Austrians left 150 dead. Our artillery on the Isonzo frontier damaged a supply depot, and exploded an ammunition store eastward of Plezzo, which was full of troops from Marmora.
