THE RUSSIAN RESISTANCE. DEFIES REPEATED GERMAN ATTACKS. (Received Last Night, 10.55 o'clock.) PETROGRAD, July 2nd. Official: The enemy's offensive at the Bug continues. The rear-guard actions were of the most stubborn kind on 29th on the Tomasso and Zamoso road, where the enemy made persistent attacks on 29th and 30th. On the Kamionka-Haliez front they wer e repulsed. We inflicted great losses and took 1000 men.
