An obstinate battle took place until the afternoon, of Monday, wlien the enemy was repulsed., with enormous losses. Twenty-three officers and 600 men who entered the fort were made PUS< The S 'Germans brought reserves into the battle at Stryj, but the result is not yet known. Our success at Svitza has continued. Already we have sent 10,660 prisoners to the rear, including 238 officers.
