DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL. "BREAKING-UP" DAY. Yesterday was ".breuking-up" day at the- Masierton PiistrictJ 'High School. The Rev. 13. L. Thomas, a member of the school committee, accompanied by tiie headmaster (Mr W. H. Jackson) visited the side school and presented the prize certificates. Ho then visited the main school. Mr Thomas apologised for the absence of the chairman of the committee (Mr It. Brown) who was unable to be present. The members of the secondary class celebrated the "breaking-up" with a sports afternoon. Cricket, tennis, pinp;-pong, and other games were indulged in, and altogether a very pleasant afternoon was spent.
