BOROUGH OF MASTERTON. IX THE MATTER of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," and of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," and the Acts amending the same respectively. The council of the borOUGH OF MASTERTON HEREBY GIVES PUBLIC NOTICE 1. That such Council proposes to raise a SPECIAL LOAN of SIXTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS (£16,b00) for the .PURPOSES OF AUGMENTING AND EXTENDING THE EXISTING WATER SUPPLY OF THE BOROUGH OF MASTERTON. AND in pursuance thereof and in connection therewith, to lay down and construct an IS inch main from the lower intake to the existing reservoir; to lay down and construct a twelve inch carrying main from the said reservoir' to the junction of Pownall Street and Renall Street within the said Borough; to lay down and construct or extend water mains in or to such roads or streets within the said Borough as are not now served by the existing Water Supply, and generally to carry out and construct all such works as may be deemed necessary to complete the reticulation of ' the . said Borough for the purposes of water supply; AND, for the repayment of such loan to make an annually-re-curring Special Rate not exceeding 3d in the Pound on the Annual Value of all rateable property in the said Borough for the purposes of providing the required'security to meet the interest and sinking fund charges during the currency of the said loan. It is proposed to pay out of the Loan Moneys the cost of raising the loan and the first year's' interest of the loan during the construction of the said works, and a sum not exceeding Two hundred arid fifty pounds (£250) for surveys and other preliminary expenses incurred in connection with the scheme for which the loan is' raised. AND 2. THE - SAID COUNCIL HEREBY GIVES FURTHER PUBLIC NOTICE that such Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of TEN THOUSAND POUNDS (£10.000) for the PURPOSES OF ERECTING MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS within the said Borough AND for the repayment thereof to make an annually recurring Special Rate not exceeding .2od in the Pound upon the unimproved value, of the w hole of the Borough for the purpose" of providing the required security to meet the interest and sinking fund charges during the currency of the said loan. AND the said Council further proposes to pay out of the said loan moneys, the cost of raising the loan together with the first year's interest thereon DATED the .Secoild day of February, 191-1.
