SATURDAY'S GAMES

REDMOND GETS A CENTURY

Ideal weather prevailed foft- Saturday's cricket, and the pitches on the Park Oval wore in good playing order This feature, of the day's play was the stand made I'or Mastertoh B by W. Carlton B match, the former were all out in their first innings for 50, while Carlton B made "88 in their first and 79 in their second attempt. Masterton A thus require 100 runs in their second innings to win the match. In Carlton's first innings Darvill 11, E. Welch 13. F. Welch 15 and F. Hoar 10 were th'e only double-figure scorers, while Darvili 22 and K. Welch 32 were the only players to make a stand in the second innings. For Masterton the chief scores were E.
