THOMPSON-PAYNE FUTURES. "UNMASKED." A large audience was present" at the T.P, Electric: Theatre, last evening, when an exceptionally tine programme was screened including the latest Itala success, entitled "Unmasked." This picture (of which a resume has been printed,) was a. most interesting and complete drama and held the interest of the audience from start to finish, and is a picture that should draw good houses* Several fine dramatic items were shown along with this subject, aniong which were "The New Ranch-owner" ern .drama by Nestor), "ThJißovo Token" (a fine Lubin 'study), and "The Bullet Clue" (a unique Solax production). Another fine subject was the Essanay production of "Two Western Paths." John Lynch, sheriff of Lone Pine, Montana, falls in love.with La Tunita, a dancing girl. The following morning while on his way to work Lynch discovers La Tunita lying beside the railroad track unconscious. He picks the almost lifeless form of the .girl up in his arms and carries her to the post office, where she is given into the care of the postmistress. A few months later the sheriff marries the pretty girl of the stage: Some time later La Tunia's former manager returns to town. The dancing girl tells him tliat she is tired, wretched and miserable with the life she has been leading, and wants to go back to the bright lights again. The two are about to rim away, when Lynch enters. Realising that he is keeping the woman he loves from what is most dear to her. he gives her some money and bids her a sad farewell. He -sacrifices his happiness for her'fc'. Among other. subjects were "Kate, the Cop" f (Lubin), "Yokels and Sharpers" CEssanay), "Eclair Journal" and "Views of Wellington, N.Z." This programme will be repeated this evening.
