F.- Massej-' jess-' plained the amendments made in the <Land Bill by the Legislative Council; and moved that they he aigreed to/ Sir Joseph AVard pointed out that . many of the amendments were of considerable importance. It was impossible to.gather the full significance on a moment's notice, and he asked that their adoption be postponed for a feiv days, in order to give members an opportunity of ascertaining what the amendments meant. The Hon. W. F. Massey agreed to defer his motion i day.
