THE POINT OF DIFFERENCE.
The N.Z. Times-.states that'the point of difference between the employers and men concerning the terms upon which the industrial strike should be settled is npt very material. The Federation of Labour has broken away from, the Act, aiiid is, endeavouring to destroy it. If those who are working under the Act, and enjoying its advantages, agree with the methods of the Federation of ; ; Labour, why do they net renounce the Act entirely, and' let us 'know where we are? If the: work.'l 3, a"s a bodyj do not'want to settjq disputes by arbitration, let Parliament at once wipe'the Act off "the .Stafcnte Book. They cannot be permitted <<> enjoy the advantages conferred by the Act, and then resort to the ■strike- weapon. We must have one thing or the other.
