TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, ol the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows; — The barometer has fallen everywhere, and cloudy and misty weather, with heavy rain in many parts of the country. Strong northerlies have prevailed. Present indications are foxstrong north-easterly wind generally, cloudy and unsettled weather, with heavy rain, though a temporary increase in barometric pressure is probable in the south. A ; further decrease is to be anticipated before a definite rise takes place in the beginning of next week.
